Bromine Tablets Fill spa bromine feeder with bromine tabs and adjust feeder to yield bromine level of 1-3 ppm. Check bromine level daily and adjust feeder as necessary until desired bromine level is attained. Keep bromine feeder filled and in the spa constantly when spa is not in use.

Spa Shock Turn on the spa filtration system and add 2 oz (4 tablespoons) per 250 gallons of water. Allow the system to run for 15 minutes with the spa cover off. Spa shock should be used at least once weekly and after each period of heavy use. Initial dose (when spa is freshly filled) of shock should be two times the maintenance dose (4 oz per 250 gallons).

Spa Perfect Spa perfect should be added directly to the spa at a rate of 1 oz per 100 gallons per week. Product should be added two times per week during periods of heavy use.

Filter Cleaner Remove cartridge from filter. Place in a clean, plastic bucket with 4 gallons of water and one bottle of filter cleaner. Let cartridge soak upright for at least 3 hours. For best results, let soak overnight. Remove cartridge from solution and rinse clean with a high pressure nozzle, then return cartridge to filter.

Filter should be cleaned monthly or as needed.

Spa water should be tested for bromine, pH and alkalinity levels at least twice weekly. Alkalinity and pH levels should be adjusted as needed per the results of water testing.

Bromine: 1.0-3.0 ppm pH: 7.2-7.8 Total Alkalinity: 80-120 ppm

Calcium Hardness: 200-250 ppm Iron/Minerals: 0 ppm

Clean filter weekly in sink or with power nozzle on garden hose. Soak filter monthly in filter cleaner with water. Replace filter when it begins to fray or becomes heavily stained. For best results, keep an extra filter on hand and rotate between the two weekly.

Do NOT use harsh household chemicals in the spa. Treat wood spa cabinets twice yearly with wood seal for protection. Synthetic cabinets do not require sealant. Maintain proper water balance by following guidelines presented above. Drain and clean surface of spa 2-4 times yearly depending on amount of use. Other products such as a metal preventative, defoamer, Scumball or fragrances may be used as needed/desired.
